Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Project Mombie collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you visit projectmombie.com, request beta access, or use Project Mombie services.

Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, beta feedback, household or family organization information, and information you submit through Project Mombie forms or services. If you choose to enable text-message reminders, we may also collect your mobile phone number, messaging preferences, consent record, and information needed to deliver those reminders.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve Project Mombie, manage beta access, organize user-requested reminders and family information, communicate about the service, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and maintain the security and reliability of our services.

SMS and mobile information

If you separately opt in to Project Mombie text messaging, we may send informational messages such as reminders and notifications you request through the service. Message frequency varies based on the reminders and notifications you create or enable. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for help.

Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and messaging consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information to service providers that process data on our behalf solely as needed to operate the service, such as communications, hosting, security, and infrastructure providers, subject to appropriate protections.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate Project Mombie, when required by law or legal process, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition. Any sharing of mobile information is subject to the SMS protections stated above.

Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, maintaining records of messaging consent, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes, and protecting the service. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children’s privacy

Project Mombie is designed for parents and caregivers to organize family life. The service is not intended for children to create accounts or provide personal information directly without appropriate parental involvement. Parents and caregivers should provide only the family information reasonably needed to use the service.

Your choices

You may choose not to provide optional information. You may opt out of Project Mombie SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Project Mombie develops. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
